1. The Science Ambassador Scholarship

Amount: Full tuition 

Deadline: December 13th

Eligibility: Female high school senior or college undergraduate

2. Society of Women Engineers Scholarship Program

Amount: $15,000

Deadline:

Incoming freshman: March 1st–May 1st

Sophomore through graduation: December 1st–February 15th

Eligibility:

  • You have to be a woman or identify as one
  • Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an ABET-accredited engineering, technology, or computer program in the upcoming academic year

Eligibility:

  • United States citizen

  • Your area of study is connected to business, economics, math, science, or technology

Application prerequisites

  • 1.200 minimum-word essay on one of four subjects: Internet of Things, ABET, metaverses, or augmented or virtual reality
  • Must have a succinct personal history

4. Palantir Women in Technology Scholarship

Amount: $7,000

Eligibility:

Must be a woman or claim to be a woman

Freshman, sophomore, or junior full-time undergraduate student majoring in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related technical discipline, or planning to major in one of those fields, enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico for the current academic year as well as the one after.

One of the most notable prizes for women in STEM is the ABET in Technology initiative, which the software corporation Palantir started in 2010.

Ten candidates are chosen to receive $7,000 fellowships and must sign up for a virtual course that will help them build the skills necessary for successful employment in the technology industry.

5. BHW Women in STEM Scholarships

Amount: $3,000

Eligibility:

Female

Application Requirements: Essay of 500–800 words on a choice of two prompts
