Eligibility Requirements for  PEO Postgraduate Scholarship

To be eligible for the PEO Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Be a woman who is a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States or Canada.

2. Have received an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.

3. Be enrolled in a full-time course of study in a graduate or professional degree program at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada.

4. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

5. Demonstrate financial need.

6. Applicants must also have a strong academic record, demonstrate leadership abilities, and show a commitment to community service.

Application Process

The application process for the PEO Postgraduate Scholarship is highly competitive and requires several steps. 

1. First, applicants must submit an application form, which includes personal information, academic history, and financial information. 

2. Applicants must also provide transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, as well as three letters of recommendation from individuals who can speak to the applicant’s academic and personal qualifications.

3. In addition to the application form and supporting materials, applicants must submit a 750-word essay that describes their academic and professional goals, as well as their commitment to community service. 

The essay should also explain how the scholarship will help the applicant achieve her goals.

4. Once the application is submitted, it will be reviewed by a committee of PEO members. The committee will consider the applicant’s academic record, leadership abilities, community service, and financial needs. 

The committee will also review the applicant’s essay and letters of recommendation.

5. Applicants who are selected as finalists will be invited to participate in an interview with a PEO member in their local area. 

6. The interview will give the applicant an opportunity to discuss her goals, achievements, and aspirations with a member of the organization.

Following the interview, the PEO committee will select the recipients of the scholarship.
