Bestway Foundation Scholarship
The Bestway Foundation is happy to provide 5 scholarships totaling £26,000 (including maintenance and tuition) to students who are Pakistani nationals and live in that country.
These grants are meant for anyone who wants to enroll in our one-year Postgraduate Master’s programs in science, technology, and math.
International students from all over the world have long been welcomed by the University of Kent, and it gives us great pleasure to announce this new scholarship opportunity in association with The Bestway Foundation.
This scholarship is only administered by the University of Kent in terms of administration and distribution. The Bestway Foundation should not be contacted directly by anyone interested in applying for the scholarship; instead, send any questions to scholarships@kent.ac.uk.
For the academic year 2023–2024, the Scholarships offer a maintenance grant in addition to covering tuition fees. Please be aware that both research-based and taught master’s programs are included in this.

How to Apply
How to Apply: First, enroll in a master’s program at the college. Next, submit your online application for the scholarship.
Supporting Documents: You will be required to provide copies of your academic records, a resume, a passport photocopy, and documentation of your language proficiency when applying for admission. Typically, research proposals are between 2000 and 3000 words long.
Students applying for a postgraduate degree often need to hold a first- or second-class British honors degree in a relevant or appropriate topic, or the equivalent from an institution with international acclaim.
Language Requirement: Before beginning a postgraduate degree, the University expects all non-native English speakers to achieve a minimum threshold of fluency in written and spoken English. There are some topics that demand a higher level.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to people who are Pakistani citizens and live there
- Academic accomplishments will be taken into account when evaluating applicants.
- Financial needs will also be taken into consideration for shortlisted individuals.
- To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must have received a full-time one-year program offer, either conditional or unconditional, in one of the following fields by the deadline:
- Biosciences
- Chemistry and Forensic Science
- Computing
- Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science
- The video interview will be performed through Microsoft Teams and will take place the week of June 5th, 2023; the precise time will be announced. Candidates should be prepared.
- It is crucial to keep in mind that the scholarship deadline is absolute and cannot be postponed for any reason. Candidates who haven’t heard back by May 19th are included in this.
Please be advised that this grant does not apply to applicants for Ph.D. or Masters programs that require a year of work experience.
