Scottie Barnes Scholarship

Through a three-year partnership with Skilled Trades College, Scottie Barnes will launch a $250,000 scholarship program.

This year, Scottie will get things going by choosing four students to earn full scholarships worth $20,000 each.

The Scottie Barnes Scholarship

Black and Indigenous students are invited to take advantage of the chance to compete for one of four scholarships that will jumpstart their career in the skilled trades by the Skilled Trades College of Canada in collaboration with Scottie Barnes, the Toronto Raptors’ Rookie of the Year.

The fortunate recipients chosen by Scottie will have the opportunity to enroll at any of the Skilled Trades College sites spread out over the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to study courses in plumbing, electrical work, data and smart home wiring, and home remodeling.

Financial Benefits of the Scottie Barnes Scholarship
