Atul Maheshwari Scholarship

The Atul Maheshwari Scholarship is a merit-based, need-based scholarship offered by the Amar Ujala Foundation to assist impoverished students enrolled in public institutions of higher learning.

Each scholarship awarded under this program can be up to INR 50,000, and it is given to up to 38 students each year.

For candidates to be eligible for the scholarship benefits, they must also satisfy the eligibility requirements and effectively complete a written test and an interview.

Atul Maheshwari Scholarship Application Open for 2023

The Amar Ujala group has opened the application period for the Atul Maheshwari scholarship. The Atul Maheshwari scholarship application form must be submitted as soon as possible by students. There are only 46 available student scholarship places. 

On August 15, 2023, the authorities opened this scholarship application. The scholarship application form must be submitted by August 30, 2023, to be considered. 

Before the deadline, students must complete the application form in order to be considered for the scholarship. The scholarship’s financial award will be 50000 rupees for students in grades 9 and 10, and 75000 rupees for students in grades 11 and 12. 

The students from the less affluent part of society will be given preference.

Scholarship Amount

Students who are selected for this scholarship program based on their performance on a merit test are given financial aid in the form of a scholarship, allowing them to continue their studies without facing any financial barriers.

36 students were chosen, with 18 coming from classes 9 and 10 and another 18 from classes 11 and 12.

Additionally, two blind students from classes 10 and 12 receive financial aid to help them finish their coursework.

The recipients of this scholarship will receive one of the following amounts:

  • 18 students from the regional board’s Class 9th and 10th will receive Rs. 30,000.
  • 18 scholarships worth Rs. 50,000 each will be given to 11th and 12th graders.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, the candidate must meet the requirements listed below:-

  • Candidates who have finished their most recent class from their state are eligible to apply for the Amar Ujala Foundation Amar Ujala Maheshwari Scholarship 2023.
  •  The student’s previous class grade must have been at least 60%.
  • Candidates that fall under this category should be in classes nine through twelve.
  • The parent’s yearly income must be less than Rs. 1 lac (1,000,000/-) for the student to qualify.

All interested candidates must abide by certain rules and restrictions in order to be eligible to receive this merit-plus-means scholarship. Some of the guidelines that applicants must adhere to are listed below:

  1. Scholarship candidates who are blind must be enrolled in classes that are one level below their current level. Additionally, they are permitted to use helpers throughout the written exam.
  2. Applicants must include their proof of residence and proof of residence when submitting the application form.
  3. The file sizes of the papers you upload as part of the application procedure should not exceed 1 MB.
  4. Those who have been asked to take the written test and are eligible must bring their admission cards to the site specified. The candidates will receive the admit cards through email.
  5. Candidates can select their preferred exam location from a selection of 57 cities.
