- A 900 rupee monthly bursary
- The Deanship of Graduate Studies and the student enter into a contract for one semester only, with the option for an additional semester if both parties so desire. The monthly bursary is Sr 1000 (for a research assistant without summer time).
- A preparation allowance of Sr. 1,800 while arriving for the first time.
- The candidate would, however, get Medical Attention.
- Providing lodging and amenities.
- The candidate may be given subsidized meals.
- For printing the thesis, you will need to pay a total of Sr 4,000 for a Ph.D. and Sr 3,000 for a master’s degree.

Eligibility Criteria for King Abdulaziz University Scholarship
To be eligible for the King Abdulaziz University Scholarship, the applicant, however, must meet each of the conditions listed below:
Eligible Countries: Every country in the world
Undergraduate Requirements:
- The pupil must behave well.
- Students must have earned a secondary school diploma, or an equivalent, either domestically or internationally.
- The high school diploma of the student cannot be more than three years old.
- For undergraduate programs, applicants cannot be younger than 17 or older than 25.
- A relative who holds one of the restricted degrees must accompany a female student who is a regular resident.
- Students must meet the conditions for admission.
Masters and Ph.D. Requirements:
- For a master’s degree, students must be older than 30; for a Ph.D., they cannot be older than 35.
- If the final degree classifications were estimated, students must get a recognized qualification in their home country with a minimum grade of very excellent.
- Certificate for the English Language Test.
- The student is required to submit two letters of recommendation from former professors.
- No students may have been expelled from a Saudi institution.
- Candidates must be proficient in both spoken and written Arabic to be considered for programs in Arabic literature and language, Islamic law and studies, psychology, sociology, and information science.
