What is the Going Merry Scholarship?

This competition is open to all senior high school students in the United States who plan to enroll in college the following year to pursue an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.

Financial need or merit (GPA or College Board test score) is not specifically required. Instead, because it is an essay competition, the money will be awarded based on the candidates’ responses.

Your financial aid package may not always be sufficient when you submit your FAFSA®. Because of this, we’ve created a brand-new prize just for children with unmet financial requirements.

Any accredited four-year undergraduate college, community college, trade school, or graduate student program in the United States may accept the $1000 award as payment. You can utilize it even as a transfer scholarship!

Since we aim to ensure that the majority of students are eligible, there are no additional qualifying restrictions (no required field of study, full-time attendance, ethnicity, community service, or GPA).

As long as you can show that you require more financial aid than what your school’s financial aid office can provide, you can be any kind of student, studying anything.

3. $1,000 Outstanding Scholars Program

(Take note that, regrettably, this scholarship is not available to international students studying outside of the United States, just like all the other awards in the Going Merry scholarship database. (To apply, you must reside in the US.)

5. $1,000 (Magically Duplicating) No-Essay Scholarship Application

The scholarship search and application process may take a lot of time while you get ready for your exciting new experience as a college or graduate student.

To remedy this problem, we created the “Magically Duplicating Scholarship”.
