This competition is open to all senior high school students in the United States who plan to enroll in college the following year to pursue an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.

Financial need or merit (GPA or College Board test score) is not specifically required. Instead, because it is an essay competition, the money will be awarded based on the candidates’ responses.

Any accredited four-year undergraduate college, community college, trade school, or graduate student program in the United States may accept the $1000 award as payment. You can utilize it even as a transfer scholarship!

Since we aim to ensure that the majority of students are eligible, there are no additional qualifying restrictions (no required field of study, full-time attendance, ethnicity, community service, or GPA).

As long as you can show that you require more financial aid than what your school’s financial aid office can provide, you can be any kind of student, studying anything.

Going Merry aims to lessen some of the pressure and give eligible students the resources they need to enroll in college without worrying as much about the cost.

We are awarding merit-based scholarships to two students in order to assist them in paying for their college tuition and lessen their future federal student loan repayment obligations.

Students who demonstrate financial need and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 are the ideal candidates for this scholarship program.

Applicants must write an essay outlining their goals and how getting a degree will help them achieve them.

Their selection committee is interested in learning about the academic programs that interest you, the kinds of coursework you wish to enroll in as a college freshman, and the direction you think they will lead you.
