CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship 2024-2025: The Government of Kerala’s Directorate of Minority Welfare (DMW) is offering the CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship. The CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship 2023–2024 online applications have been made available by DMW.

For further study, this scholarship is available to Latina, Muslim, or Converted Christian girls. so that they won’t have to worry about paying for their further education. These students should be enrolled in any government-sponsored institution‘s first year of UG studies.

This scholarship was established by DMW to annually give money to talented Muslim girls. This program provides lodging stipends in addition to scholarships.

CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship

Only online applications are accepted for the Scholarship. This scholarship is only available to Muslim girls who reside in Kerala State. This scholarship enables these Keralan community youngsters to finish their higher studies.

Former Kerala Chief Minister C.H. Mohammed Koya is honored by the name of this Scholarship. Muslim girls who were rejected during the initial application period may reapply in subsequent years.

However, they will only be taken into account for the year in which they submitted their scholarship or stipend application.

For the Fresh and Renewal Scholarship Applications 2024–25, qualified female students can apply online. Only on the DMW, Government of Kerala, official website will applications be made available for this scholarship.

CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The following qualifying requirements must be met by applicants:

  • The student must be a member of the Christian Community or be a Muslim, Latino, or Converted.
  • Students must reside in the state of Kerala.
  • Students must be female and enrolled in government-sponsored or higher education institutions to be eligible for graduation.
  • Additionally eligible are students who took the Common Entrance Examination and were admitted to self-financing colleges based on merit.
  • A minimum of 50% of the available points must have been earned in the qualifying exams.
  • The family income of the student should not exceed Rs. 8 lakhs annually.
  • Students must be staying in approved hostels to be eligible for a hostel stipend.
  • The award is not available to students who qualify for the hostel stipend.
  • For the scholarship money to be paid out, students must have a bank account with a reputable institution.

Rewards Under Scholarship

The Directorate of Minority Welfare will award students with over 7000 awards each year. The chosen student under the CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship will get the following reward.

CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship Selection Process

The recommendations of the Sachar Committee Report are used to determine which students will get this prize. The institutions will check the scholarship applications. The committee project officer will then receive it and make the final decision. The applications will be checked by the project officer.

Next, approve the scholarship amount for the chosen applicants. To receive the scholarship money, students must have a bank account with a nationalized bank. The scholarship money will then be transferred by DBT to the chosen student’s bank account.

  • ‘Types of Scholarship’ can be accessed from the homepage by clicking on it.
  • To fill out the student online registration form, click “Apply Online” after reading the instructions.
  • Enter your matriculation exam information, personal information, permanent residence information, etc. after that.
  • To finish the student online registration form, click ‘Submit’.
  • However, if you already have an account, log in using your registration ID, date of birth, and password, then choose Fresh/Renewal.
  • Fill out the Scholarship Application Form with accurate and legal information.
  • Upload the accompanying documents’ scanned copies.
  • After that, send the Scholarship application and any other documentation.
  • the registration form to be printed out.
  • Send it to the institution’s verifying officer with the supporting documentation.
