What Is Post-Matric Scholarship – The Post-Matric Scholarship Program is a federally funded program that is carried out by state and local governments. The Scheme offers financial aid to Scheduled Caste students enrolled in post-secondary or post-matriculation courses so they can finish their education. 

What Is Post Matric scholarship

Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities

The Scholarship Requirements

Candidates from underrepresented groups, including boys and girls, could apply for this scholarship.

Indian citizenship is a requirement for candidates.

Students in the eleventh and twelfth grades, as well as undergraduate, graduate, M.Phil, doctoral, and diploma students, are eligible.

The candidate’s family’s total annual income should not exceed two lakh rupees.

Candidates must have obtained at least 50% on the prior exam.

How to Apply for the Post-Matric Scholarship?

You can apply for these scholarships through some of the most well-known websites, such as the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), the UP scholarship portal, the MP scholarship portal, and others.

Fill out the Scholarship online application by making note of the items below.

  • Visit the NSP website at scholarships.gov.in.
  • On the NSP homepage, click the “Ministry of Minority Affairs” link that is displayed under “State Schemes.”
  • Pay close attention to the “Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities Guidelines.”
  • After that, select the “New Registration” link that showed up on the home page.
  • You will be taken to the page with instructions for the new student registration form. Click “Continue” after reading all of the registration instructions.
  • You will then be taken to the registration form for new students. Fill out the registration form with true and accurate information, including your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Type in your accurate bank information. Your mobile number provided during registration will receive an OTP.
  • To fill-up the form, enter your OTP and login to NSP.
  • An application Id and password will be generated as a result, which can be used later on.
  • Complete the Scholarship application and submit it together with the required paperwork.
  • Submit the Scholarship application, then print out a copy for your records.

Post-High School Scholarship Renewing Program

After being given to students, the Scholarship may be extended during the following academic year. So, a course on certificate production will be offered during the following academic year.

Scholarship renewal will be given to students who received at least 50% of the possible exam points.

The Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, will announce the results of the post-secondary scholarships. On the official website, scholarships.gov.in, students can view their results. After the announcement of the results, scholarships will be given to the selected individuals.
