Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicants are required to submit separate applications for PhD, Post-Doc, or master’s programs at Swiss universities, as well as for the Federal Commission of Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS).

2. The applicant should furnish a comprehensive profile along with their research project or artistic endeavor.

3. Individuals need to independently identify a supervisor from their preferred Swiss university.

4. It’s advisable that the research focus of the chosen professors aligns with the applicant’s field of study.

5. Establish direct contact with the chosen professor and communicate your interest in the Swiss Government scholarship.

7. All documents must be presented in English.

Documents Required

1. Submit two sets of documents 1-original and 1 copy.

2. The first set must contain the original signed documents having two letters of recommendation

3. The second set must contain a copy of the first set except for recommendation letters.

4. A typed and printed FCS form with a photo.

5. Short CV.

6. Letter of motivation.

7. A research plan of a maximum of 5 pages (signed) using the FCS form.
