Application Process
The application process for the ONGC scholarship is as follows:

Selection Criteria
This scholarship is awarded based on merit, taking into consideration your academic achievements for the final selection.
The list of scholars who are ultimately selected is determined by the company itself. For those pursuing Engineering or MBBS programs, the selection is based on performance in the class 12th examination.
On the other hand, for those pursuing an MBA or Master’s course in Geology or Geophysics, the selection is based on performance at the graduation level.
In cases where students have equal marks in the qualifying examination, those with a lower family income will be given preference.
Additionally, priority is given to students from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, and if a sufficient number of eligible students from BPL families are not available, consideration will be extended to other students.
Terms and Conditions
To ensure the effective implementation and disbursement of the scholarship, ONGC has established certain terms and conditions that students must meet. These conditions include:
1. Students intending to apply for the ONGC scholarship should not be receiving any other scholarship or financial assistance.
2. To maintain the scholarship on an annual basis, scholars must demonstrate satisfactory performance in their annual examinations.
3. The conduct of the scholar is also taken into account for the continuation of the scholarship.
4. Students must achieve a minimum of 50% marks or a scale of 5 grade points out of 10.
5. If a student fails to meet the academic requirements or conduct expectations, the scholarship will not be disbursed for that particular year.
6. In the event that the scholarship is discontinued, students may apply for renewal by submitting the scholarship renewal application form in the specified format. However, this is only possible if they are able to regain the specified percentage or grades.
