Eligibility Criteria
To be considered eligible for this award, the candidate must fulfill the following criteria:
1. The student’s parents must be engaged in full-time employment in industries such as Beedi, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, or Cine, with a minimum of six months of continuous employment. Contract/Ghar Khata (Home Based) workers are also included in this category.
2. The total monthly income of the worker’s family, including all sources of income, should not exceed 10,000.
3. The applicant should have achieved exceptional results in the most recent qualifying test on their first attempt. However, students who have progressed to the next academic level are also eligible to apply for scholarships.
4. Scholars enrolled in correspondence courses are not considered eligible for this award.
5. The educational institution in which the applicant is enrolled must be accredited or recognized by the government.
6. The scholar must possess their own personal checking account. In case of a joint account, the scholar’s first name should be used for identification purposes.
7. Furthermore, each child of the same worker must have their own unique bank account number.

The applicant must submit the following documents to apply for this scholarship:
1. A photocopy of the employee’s identification card
2. Copy of the front page of a canceled check or bank passbook (which should include information on the account beneficiary or holder).
3. Passing Certificate or Grade Report from the Prior Academic Year
4. Revenue Authority-issued Income Certificate

The final day to submit an application for the Labor Card Scholarship will depend on the state government’s officially published policies and guidelines.
Typically, the Scholarship Program’s application period begins in the months of July and August and ends in the months of October and November each academic year.
How to Apply
To apply for the scholarship, follow these simple steps:

2. The homepage will be displayed on your screen.
3. Choose the option for New Registration.
4. The instructions will appear on your screen.
5. Read and acknowledge the statement.
6. Select “Continue” from the menu.
7. Fill in all the required information, including your name, date of birth, cell phone number, gender, email address, bank details, etc.
8. Enter the captcha code provided.
9. Click on “Register” in the menu.
10. Now, enter your login details.
11. Select “Application Form” from the available options.
12. The application form will be displayed on your screen.
Provide details such as the student’s state of residence, name, date of birth, community or category, father’s name, Aadhaar card number, mobile number, scholarship category, gender, religion, mother’s name, annual family income, email address, etc.
13. Simply click on “Save & Continue.”
14. Upload the required documents online.
15. Choose “Final Submission.”
16. Your application form will be successfully submitted.

To check the status of your application, follow these simple instructions:
1. Click on the provided link to access the official website of the national scholarship portal.
2. The homepage will appear on your screen.
3. Choose the Login option from the menu.
4. You will be directed to a new page.
5. Select the appropriate year from the dropdown menu.
6. You will be taken to another page.
7. Enter your Application ID and password.
8. Click on the “Submit” button.
9. Your screen will display the status of your application.
