About SIRISH Scholarship
The Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare (TTWD) Directorate is responsible for implementing programs under the Tea Tribes Welfare and Adivasi Department.
These initiatives encompass a diverse range of schemes, including scholarships for students in schools and colleges, skill development and entrepreneurship support, start-up grants for self-employment ventures, and assistance to women’s Self Help Groups (SHGs).
Each year, TTWD invites applications from stakeholders belonging to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities for the implementation of various scholarships and welfare schemes.
To streamline the application process and reduce paperwork, the directorate has adopted an online application system called the SIRISH portal, starting from the financial year 2024-25.

Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for applying to various scholarship and welfare schemes of TTWD, Assam, candidates must meet the following requirements:
1. The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and belong to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community.
2. Candidates must have a valid and operational bank account.
3. Candidates must possess a TGL/EX-TGL caste certificate.
4. The family income of the candidates should not exceed 5.00 lakh per annum. A declaration from the parent/guardian, as per the provided format, must be submitted regarding the family income.

Interested and eligible candidates seeking benefits from the TTWD Scholarship can apply online by following the steps mentioned below:

2. Click on the link for the Online Application Form.
3. A new web page will open, click on the “Don’t have an account ?? Register” button. Provide your basic details and click on the register button.
4. Once registered, click on the Online Application Form link and log in.
5. After logging in, you will see a list of all available scholarships and schemes. Choose the relevant scheme.
6. Enter all your personal and educational details as required.
7. Upload all the necessary documents as instructed and then click on the submit button.
8. Remember to take a printout of the submitted application form for your records.
