Kaduna Polytechnic Admission Requirements
The general requirements specified below have been accepted for university entrance. Candidates who made Kaduna Polytechnic their top choice during the Post-Unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME) may register there.
- The candidate must obtain at least the minimal JAMB score or the institutional cut-off mark for the programs they are applying for.
- Candidates must also earn the O’level credits required for their programs, as mentioned in the JAMB Brochure, to be considered complete.
- A minimum age of 16 must be met by the applicant.
- Interested The JAMB website should be used by applicants who want to enroll at Kaduna Polytechnic but did not choose it during the UTME Registration process.
Entry Requirements for ND Candidates
To enroll in Kaduna Polytechnic classes, all of the following requirements must be met:
- The required cut-off score for potential applicants in the UTME/JAMB is 150.
- Candidates must acquire a minimum of five O/L Credit Passes in no more than two sittings in the WASC, SSCE, NECO, and GCE exams.
- He or she must have received credit in both English language and mathematics in the SSCE to be admitted.
Entry Requirements for HND Candidates
For a candidate to be granted consideration for admission to the institution and to enroll in any Kaduna Polytechnic Kaduna Courses, the following requirements must be met:
- A candidate for the Higher National Diploma must hold a National Diploma from the relevant ND program with a minimum lower credit (CGPA) of 2.50.
- In exceptional cases, applicants with a passing grade and a minimum of two years of post-qualification work experience in the relevant field may be considered for admission.
- a minimum of twelve (12) months of supervised work experience, five (5) credit passes in the relevant O-Level courses acquired in no more than two sittings.
- Transcripts are required for admission to all HND programs at the college, notably for prospective students from other universities.
