The Hope Scholarship Florida is a scholarship created for the children of Florida’s public schools. The ones that are mostly bullied, now have an opportunity to further their education. You can get this scholarship if you follow the instructions in this post.
Students who engage in harassment, assault, intimidation, or fighting at school will have the choice to enroll in a licensed private school through the Hope Scholarship or transfer to another public school that has space.
Before proposing a transfer to another public school with space or the chance for the student to attend a recognized private school on a scholarship, the district is not required to present any documentation.
The district level may investigate reported incidents.

Who is Eligible for the Hope Scholarship Program?
1. Students who have experienced and reported an instance of violence, harassment, hazing, bullying, kidnapping, physical attack, sexual offenses, threat or intimidation, or fighting at school have the option of enrolling in another public school that offers room.
Additionally, they have the choice of requesting and receiving a scholarship to attend a qualified private school.
2. A qualifying event must have taken place at a K–12 public school, during any program or activity supported by the school, while using a bus or standing in line at a bus stop, or any combination of these.
3. If a parent chooses to enroll their child in a public school outside of their home district, they may qualify for a transportation subsidy.
Can the Scholarship be Forfeited?
The scholarship is forfeited if a parent enrolls their child in a DJJ commitment program or a public school.
The student is ineligible for the following scholarships while earning a Florida Tax Credit Scholarship, a Gardiner Scholarship, or a McKay Scholarship:
1. Participating in a homeschooling program.
2. Participating in a private tutoring program that follows F.S.
3. Attending a virtual school, correspondence course, or remote learning program that receives funding from the state, unless enrollment is limited to no more than two courses per year.
4. Applied for admission to the Florida School for the Blind and Deaf.
Application Instructions
The Hope Scholarship Program offers public school students in Florida a haven from bullying and violence by permitting parents to move their kids to another K–12 public school or enroll them in a qualified, participating K–12 private school.
A qualifying event must have taken place at a public K–12 educational facility, during a school-sponsored program or activity, while riding a school bus, or while waiting at a bus stop.
Qualifying occurrences include sexual offenses, harassment, assault, battery, hazing, bullying, kidnapping, physical attack, robbery, threats or intimidation, or fights at school, according to the Florida Department of Education in accordance with s. 1006.09 (6).
There is no consideration for financial need in the Hope Scholarship Program.
The transportation scholarship and the private school prize have identical eligibility requirements.

Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, with applications reviewed in the order they are received, along with any supporting evidence.
Scholarship funds may be transferred to other eligible institutions if a student moves within the state or even choose to attend another participating private school.
The student may continue to receive the scholarship until they either return to public school or until they graduate from high school, whichever comes first, depending on funding availability and notification of renewal.
The FLEID number of your child is required to complete the application.
This 12-digit number can be found before beginning the online application on the Hope Notification Form (IEPC-HS1), by calling the office of your neighborhood public school or school district, or by logging into their online system.
Considering that you may now take advantage of this and join the Hope Scholarship Family, you shouldn’t longer use the justification that you are short on resources for your studies.
