About LAUTECH

It is a private, independent institution of higher learning and research in Nigeria.
On April 23, 1990, the old Oyo State (OSUTECH) established the university as the Oyo State University of Technology, Ogbomoso.
Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso is now the official name of the institution.
This happened in 1991 when the Old Oyo State was transformed into the Osun State. (LAUTECH).
The states of Oyo and Osun jointly owned the University. But until a mutual agreement between the two states on November 20, 2020, when it became wholly controlled by the state of Oyo.

For any program in the faculties of management sciences computing science and informatics, the new programs last eight (8) semesters.
For all programs in the faculties of food and consumer sciences, the new programs last ten (10) semesters.

The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology’s administration has announced that the current post-UTME cut-off mark for admission in 2023/2024 is 160 or above.
This demonstrates that the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has set a minimum Post UTME Cut-off Point of 160 for the 2023–2024 admissions cycle.
