The GM Foundation is pleased to provide support for the Scholarship program. Students who excel in and out of the classroom and who might not be able to pay for college without financial support are recognized via the General Motors college scholarships program. Since its inception in 2011, the Buick Achievers Scholarship Program has given 3,450 students scholarships totaling more than $28 million.

For a maximum of four years, scholarship schemes are renewable in order to complete a university degree. However, five-year engineering programs are exempt from this system’s use. As a result, scholarships are given to engineering students and are renewed for a maximum of five years.

GM sends money to organizations that manage scholarships rather than giving them out directly to students. Every year, the BuickAchievers Scholarship Program ranks as one of the most effective scholarship programs in the country.

The 50 States’ inhabitants may apply for the Buick Achievers Scholarship Program, which offers Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) courses with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Full-time enrolment is the current status.

For the seventh consecutive year, scholarships funded by Buick Achievers will be given to college students who show a passion to learn math, science, technology, and engineering (STEM), performing well in school, and giving back to their community.

Eligibility for Buick Achievers Scholarship Program:

Applicants to the Buick Achievers Scholarship Program must:

  • Be juniors or seniors in high school, graduates from high school, or current postsecondary undergraduates.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate studies for the entire academic year at a recognized four-year institution or university located in the United States or Puerto Rico. Online and proprietary schools are not permitted.
  • Plan to major in a program of study that focuses on engineering or technology, or choose courses of study that are related to design. Through their website,  you may view the list of majors that are acceptable.
  • Using these fields of study, demonstrate a desire to work in the automobile industry or other related fields.
  • Possessing citizenship from the United States and residing there permanently.

You must first register as an applicant on the scholarship website before you can submit an application for The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program.

Then, finish the application by supplying details about yourself and your academic accomplishments after activating your account by accessing your email.

Award Amount

The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program will give away 50 Buick Achievers Scholarships, each worth up to $25,000 and renewable for up to four years. Additionally, applicants who enroll in a five-year engineering program will receive an additional year of funding.
