About Bingham University

Bingham University is a private university in Benue State, Nigeria, that was founded in 2005. The university is in the state of Benue, in the town of New Karu. Kogi, Abuja, and other states border Benue.

Additionally, The university is a Christian institution named after three Sudanese interior missionaries who saw the need to train Christians at Nigerian universities. Students are taught knowledge as well as spiritual Christian ideals at the university.

Bingham University provides Bachelor of Science degrees in Medicine, Management and Social Sciences, and Science.

Requirements for Direct Entry and UTME

  • Candidates must have obtained at least 5 credit passes in the appropriate courses, particularly English, at the GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO, or recognized alternatives in no exceeding two sittings.
  • Teacher Grade II (TC II) candidates with credit or merit passes in appropriate subjects from GCE, WASCE, SSCE, NECO, or recognized equivalents may be eligible. There can be no topics that count for both TC II and GCE O/Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO, or peers.
  • The candidate must get the Bingham University departmental cut mark/point in the JAMB UTME to be considered for internal University screening.
  • Prospective students or candidates must be over the age of 16 in the year of admission to Bingham University; individuals who are under the age of 16 must swear an affidavit of age declarations.
  • Candidates who, however, meet the aforementioned criteria are immediately admitted to the University and its internal screening procedure.
