UQ Central Cash Co-Contribution Model
DVCRI funding provides $5,000 annually for Early Career Fellowships, but only if the partner organization also contributes at least $5,000 in cash.
For Mid-Career Fellowships, DVCRI funds will match any additional monies given by the industry partner, up to a maximum of $50,000 and not more than a 1:1 match with AQ funding.
The industry partner’s contributions for both Early Career and Mid-Career fellowships must be wholly fresh money and not a transfer of funds already in the UQ system (like CSIRO or ACARP).
Although in-kind wage contributions from business partners may qualify as cash contributions for matching AQ grant money, they won’t be taken into account for calculating the core cash commitment from UQ.
