SSP Scholarship – The state government of Karnataka and the Indian government have introduced a number of programs to ensure that every student in the state has access to quality education. To help students apply for these scholarships, the government has introduced SSP Scholarship Portal 2024.
State Scholarship Portal, or SSP, is a project of the Centre for e-Governance, Government of Karnataka, and it is used by the government of Karnataka to distribute various pre- and post-matric scholarships.
An SSP scholarship is a state-funded program open to Karnataka residents in grades I through post-doctoral studies. Different SSP scholarship programs are offered to students studying at the pre-matric and post-matric levels by several subsidiary ministries under the state government.
The scholarship’s expiration date for 2024 varies depending on the plan. The Social Welfare Department’s SSP scholarship programs have a May 31st, 2024, deadline.

The deadline for SSP scholarship applications
New deadlines for the scholarship have been announced by the state of Karnataka. To apply, interested candidates should do so online before the deadline. The latest scholarship deadlines for the various state government-announced programs are listed below in a table.

SSP Scholarship List
Students in grades I through X may apply for the SSP pre-matriculatory scholarship, and students in grades XI through post-doctoral studies may apply for the SSP post-matriculation scholarship through the portal. The subsidiary departments however provide scholarship programs to improve the lives of children from low-income families.

SSP Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
The following requirements must be met by SC and ST students applying for SSP post-matric scholarships:
- The applicants must reside in Karnataka permanently.
- They must have obtained at least 50% on the prior qualifying exam (or an equivalent grade).
- Their annual family income shouldn’t be more than INR 2,50,000.
SSP Post-Matric Scholarship Reward
The fee amount will be split equally between the federal and state governments at 50% each. As a result, they will pay the student’s fees in full.

How do I apply for the SSP Post-Matric Scholarship?
To apply for the SSP Post-High School Scholarship, complete the instructions below:
- Step 1: Go to SSP Karnataka’s official website.
- Step 2: Select ‘Create Account’ from the homepage’s menu.
- Step 3: Complete your Aadhaar Card information and check the box to authorize the Karnataka Government to use your Aadhaar number for verification. ‘Proceed’ should be clicked.
- Step 4: Select the necessary plan from the checkboxes.
- Step 5: Select ‘Save & Proceed’
- Step 6: Verify the accuracy of the SATS ID information and select “Yes” or “No” (if incorrect, enter the proper ID).
- Step 7: Type your mobile number into the appropriate field.
- Step 8: Select ‘Submit’.
- Step 9: A one-time password (OTP) will be generated and delivered to the specified mobile number.

- Step11: Modify your password
- Step 12: Select “Submit.” Your registered mobile number will receive a message with the User ID and password.
SSP Scholarship Documents
The following are the crucial documents that applicants for the Scholarship 2023 must submit:
- A picture the size of a passport
- Candidate’s parent’s cards Aadhar
- Fees for college receipt
- I.d. required for a private or public hostel a functioning cellphone number
- The institution’s or college’s registration number
- Caste/EWS certificate, income certificate, bank account passbook, and ration card number
- The government of India has approved a unique disability identification number.
