Applicants can now pursue education and research in the US. It operates in 160 Fulbright countries throughout the world. IELTS is not required, and the program is fully funded.

The administration of the program is under the control of the American embassies or the binational Fulbright Commission/Foundation.

Depending on how long the program runs, there are roughly 4000 scholarships available each year.

4. Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program

The fellowship program typically lasts from April until September.

While it is not possible to select an institution of preference, candidates are automatically enrolled in a participating USA institution.

While being a non-degree program, it offers great opportunities for professional development through networking, going to conferences, enrolling in certain university courses, and gaining practical work experience.

200 Fellowships are awarded each year.

This scholarship covers all costs, including tuition at the host university, a one-time housing allowance, a hospital coverage allowance, a travel allowance, and other expenditures.

5. US Embassy EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program

Nigerians can access this program every year. For the eleventh year running, the Education USA Opportunity Scholarships Program, the US Embassy in Nigeria is seeking low-income, academically proficient, and highly motivated students in Nigeria (OFP).

The opportunity to pursue fully funded studies in the United States is granted to the chosen students thanks to financing made possible by a partnership with Coca-Cola.
