With the help of Reliance Foundation Scholarships, deserving students can pursue further education, develop into young professionals, and propel India’s economic development.
The Reliance Foundation scholarship has two categories and they include:
Undergraduate Scholarships
More than 600 million Indians, which is approximately half of India’s population, are under the age of 25.
Reliance Foundation is dedicated to enhancing young people’s access to higher education within the country.
The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships have the objective of assisting up to 5,000 deserving students in pursuing their undergraduate studies through a merit-cum-means selection process.
By providing financial support, these scholarships empower students to continue their education without the burden of financial constraints.
The aim is to enable these students to become successful professionals, fulfill their aspirations, unlock their potential, and uplift themselves and their communities.
This initiative also contributes to India’s future socio-economic development.
To be eligible, students must come from households with an annual income of less than Rs. 15 lahks and must be enrolled in the first year of their undergraduate studies in any subject.
The program also encourages applications from female students and those with disabilities.
Selected scholars will receive scholarships of up to 2 lakhs throughout their degree program.
Besides the financial support, the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships offer students the opportunity to become part of a dynamic alumni network and a supportive system that will have a lasting impact on their lives and careers.
Undergraduate Scholarships Features
1. Encourage deserving individuals from all throughout the nation to enroll in undergraduate colleges
2. For first-year students pursuing any field of study

4. There could be 5,000 undergraduate scholars chosen.
5. Throughout the degree program, there will be a total scholarship available of up to Rs/INR 2 Lakhs.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the scholarship, you need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
1. You must be a resident Indian citizen.
2. You should have completed your 12th standard with a minimum of 60% marks.
3. You must be enrolled in the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree program in any field in India.
4. Your household income should be less than Rs. 15 Lakhs, with preference given to those with income below Rs. 2.5 Lakhs.
To begin the application process, you first need to register for the scholarship. Upon registration, you will receive an email containing your login details.
Postgraduate Scholarships
The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship offers the following key features:
1. Fostering future leaders in India who possess visionary thinking, environmental consciousness, and digital expertise for the betterment of society.
2. The selection process for the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships is highly competitive and thorough, aimed at identifying the most exceptional and talented students in India.
3. Applications are open to candidates from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, and scholarships will be awarded based on merit.
4. A maximum of 100 postgraduate scholars will be chosen to receive the scholarship.
5. The total scholarship amount available throughout the degree program will be up to Rs/INR 6 Lakhs.
6.80% of the scholarship funds will be disbursed in advance at the beginning of each academic year, intended to cover tuition fees and direct academic expenses.
The remaining 20% of the funds can be requested by scholars to support professional development, including indirect academic and personal development costs like conference expenses.
7. Scholars will have access to additional engagement and development opportunities, such as attending talks and workshops led by renowned global experts, the chance to apply for mentorship programs and internships, volunteering prospects, a robust alumni network, and more.
8. They will become part of a dynamic community of scholars that will play a leading role in shaping a new India.
Eligibility Criteria
Reliance Foundation invites applications from first-year postgraduate students who are enrolled full-time in eligible degree programs, including Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics & Computing, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable & New Energy, Material Science & Engineering, and Life Sciences.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you need to meet the following criteria:
1. You must be a resident Indian citizen.
2. For the Postgraduate Scholarship, you should be a first-year PG student who has achieved a score ranging from 550 to 1,000 in the GATE Examination.
3. If you have not attempted the GATE exam, you must have obtained a CGPA of 7.5 or above in your undergraduate studies (or a percentage equivalent normalized to CGPA).
