Panjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship 2024–25 is a merit-based scholarship provided by the Maharashtra government to assist the social segments who are less fortunate economically.
Students who have excelled in their academics want to pursue higher education and are from rural or economically underdeveloped areas are given the scholarship. A different name for the program is Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojana.
About the Panjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship Program
An initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra, is Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna 2024–2025.
It aims to provide financial aid to students who are registered labor/alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder) wards and who have enrolled in technical, professional, or non-professional courses.
Candidates studying in institutions located in MMRDA, PMRDA, Aurangabad City, or Nagpur City will receive INR 30,000 for 10 months, while those studying in institutions in other locations would receive INR 20,000 for 10 months.

Panjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates must be residents of Maharashtra and be citizens of India.
- The applicant must be an actual student at the institution to which he or she is applying.
- The centralized admission process (C.A.P.) is how any applicant is admitted.
- Private or Deemed universities are not included.
- Age restrictions do not apply to any candidates.
- The candidate’s family’s income cannot be more than Rs. 8 lakhs.
- A percentage of 50% or above from the prior year is required for applicants.
- Students who took a break during their previous semesters (of two years or more) are also ineligible for this grant.
- The applicant must have applied for admission in both the general and the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar)/Scheduled Tribe categories.
- The candidate should not have previously been given a scholarship through a government of Maharashtra program.
Application Form Process
The Punjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship online application is open to all qualified applicants. The processes listed below can be used by students to submit an online application for the Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship for 2023.
- First, go to the site, Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship Official Website.
- On the home page, select Apply.
- To register a new applicant, click the link.
- Complete the form with all the necessary information, then register.
- The OTP or biometric Aadhaar authentication mechanism will be used.
- Type in the OTP that you were sent by email or cell phone.
- Use your username and password to log in.
- Fill out the application form in the new tab.
- The scanned papers are uploaded.
- Hit “Submit.”
- Take the application form in hard copy.
Documents Required for the Panjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship
In relation to the paperwork needed for Panjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship:
- High School Transcript / Maharashtra SSC Alpabhudharak (Labor Certificate) Domicile Certificate Registration (Marginal Land Holder) Certificate Proof: No more than two “Beneficiaries” from the same family may apply (number valid for the applicable year).
- Document pertaining to C.A.P. (IF APPLICABLE)
- Papers from Hosteller (IF APPLICABLE)
- Documents relating to gaps (IF APPLICABLE)
- Previous year’s test results a certificate of attendance a scholarship application form
- (Aadhar Card) Identity Card
Benefits
The rewards will be given to the chosen candidates in the methods listed below:
Professional Courses
Children of Registered Laborers/Alpabhudharak (Holders of Marginal Land)
- Students attending schools in MMRDA, PMRDA, Aurangabad City, or Nagpur City pay INR 30,000 for ten months.
- Students attending colleges in other cities pay INR 20,000 for ten months of study.
For Students having an Annual Family Income of up to 1 lakh
- For students enrolled in programs at institutions in the MMRDA, PMRDA, Aurangabad City, or Nagpur City, the cost is INR 10,000 for 10 months.
- For students enrolled at institutions in other cities, the cost is INR 8,000 for 10 months.
Students having an Annual Family Income of INR 1 lakh to 8 lakh
- For students enrolled in programs at institutions in the MMRDA, PMRDA, Aurangabad City, or Nagpur City, the cost is INR 10,000 for 10 months.
- For students enrolled in programs at institutions in other cities, the cost is INR 8,000 for 10 months. Note that 33% of the seats are designated for females. If any seats remain, the boys will be awarded them.)
For Non-Professional Courses
- Students with a family income of INR 1 lakh will receive INR 2,000 per year for 10 months.

Terms and Conditions
- There should be no other Nirvah Bhatta benefits being used by the applicant.
- The candidate ought to be a hosteller.
- For this scholarship, only 2 kids from the same household may apply.
