The portal, which is run by the Backward Classes Welfare Department of the West Bengal government, lists pre-matriculation and post-matriculation scholarships for students who are citizens of this region.
The main reason for launching this Oasis scholarship portal is to develop a special online system for handling government scholarship applications and management.
How to Apply for an Oasis Scholarship?
- You must first visit the Oasis website, Oasis.gov.in.
- You must select the “New Registration” button if this is your first time registering.
- You can choose the district after the new window has opened. You must select your Permanent District if you are studying elsewhere than in West Bengal.
- The category certificate and the date of issue must then be provided. You can continue with simply the certificate application number if you are in grades 9 and 10.
- The NSP application’s identification number must then be provided. If you are an SC student, you must visit the NSP portal and register there before applying for the Oasis scholarship.
- The next step is to fill out the form with information such as the father’s name, birthdate, etc.
- Then the total household income must be mentioned.
- Next, they must enter their state, district, block, mobile number, and email address.
- The candidate must offer information on their educational background, including what classes they took, whether they were in the same class the year before, etc.
The registration process must be finished by entering the password and pressing the “submit” button.

The West Bengali government launched the Online Application for Scholarship in Studies (OASIS Scholarship) for the current academic year. The new application procedure is still undergoing significant revisions.

Students in grades 9 and 10 who fall under the SC category are eligible, but you must also have a family income of less than 2 lakh rupees annually.
The Oasis scholarship is available to all ST students in grades 9 and 10 whose home income is less than Rs. 2 lahks annually.
if you are enrolled in a postgraduate course or have completed pre-matriculation. Additionally, if you are a SC or ST applicant and your family makes less than 2.5 lakh rupees annually, you are also eligible to apply.
Those who have completed grade 10 and fall within the OBC category, as well as those whose family’s yearly income is below one lakh, are eligible.

How to Check Status Of Oasis Scholarship?
You Must Verify Whether Your Oasis Scholarship Application Has Been Accepted After Submitting It. You can check the status of your application to see if it has been submitted to the institute if there are any information errors and if final verification is still pending or not. How to do this is explained below.
- Visit oasis.gov.in, the Oasis Scholarship’s official website.
- Choose Track Application from the menu now.
- Here, choose your district, then hit submit.
- You will now be taken to the page for application tracking status.
- Click here, type in your user ID and session, and then select “check status.”
You can now view the standing of your application.

Next Step or renewal For Oasis Scholarship 2024 Session
You will then receive the acknowledgment sheet and all of the registration information. Before renewing your scholarship, you must log in to Oasis Portal. You must complete the four steps of the form submission after logging in.
You must click the first step in the process first. Additionally, the district, block, post office, and zip code must all be entered for the address.
Then you’ll have to give extra information, such as whether or not you stay in a hostel.
Then, you must provide your academic information, including the name of the school, the date of enrollment, the specifics of your course, your grades, etc.
Giving identifying information, such as Aadhaar numbers, bank account information, the source of your family’s income, etc., is the next stage.
Save the form after you’ve finished it, then submit the application. Then, you must save the PDF form and deliver it to the neighborhood or municipal office that is closest to you.
