Lucknow Institution, founded in 1920, is a public state institution. The University of Lucknow is accredited by the NAAC, BCI, and NCTE.

The institution provides more than 100 undergraduate and graduate courses. It comprises 11 faculties: arts, engineering and technology, commerce, education, yoga and alternative medicine, fine arts, science, and law.

Programmes

Lucknow University provides three-year BSc in four specializations, BCA, BA, BBA, BFA, BCom, BCom (Hons), BA (Hons) in 30+ specialisations, BPEd, BVA, BVoc, and BTech (Lateral) courses, two-year BEd, five-year integrated courses such as BA LLB, BBA MBA, and a four-year BTech course.

At the graduate level, the university provides two-year MA, MSc, MBA, MPH, MEd, LLM, MCA, MHA, MCom, MPA, MPEd, and MSW programs. Students can pursue PhD and diploma programs at the institution that last three to six years.

Admission Process

The admission process for Lucknow University courses in 2024 is entrance-based. Lucknow University provides more than 100 courses.

In addition, it provides undergraduate, graduate, diploma, and certificate programs. Admissions are based on university/national-level entrance exam results such as CUET, CUET-PG, and JEE Main.
