The term “JRU” is sometimes used as an abbreviation for José Rizal University, a private, non-sectarian, coeducational educational institution situated in Mandaluyong,

José Rizal University Alumni Association  Scholarship (JRUAA)

The José Rizal University Alumni Association (JRUAA) Scholarship is an annual opportunity provided by the José Rizal University Alumni Association.

This scholarship aims to support students who wish to enroll at José Rizal University and pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Recipients of the JRUAA Scholarship are eligible for a 100% tuition and fee waiver. In exceptional cases, scholars may also receive a monthly stipend and a book allowance.

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Maintain a Final Grade Point Average (Final GPA) of 1.50 or higher and not receive a grade lower than 1.75 in any of their courses or disciplines during the semester.

2. Enroll in a regular course load during the preceding semester of their chosen program of study.

It’s important to note that students who have failed any class or subject since their first year of college will be disqualified from receiving an academic scholarship.
