1. Using the JAMB Online Website

All the candidates who participated in this year’s UTME and years before can now check and print their original results slip affixed with their passport photograph. You will need to pay N1,500 to access your JAMB result slip. Take the following steps.

Go to the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) eFacility portal [https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/] and log in with your credentials.

Select your payment option and continue with the payment.
After a successful payment, you can check/print your result slip by selecting your exam year and entering your JAMB Registration Number in the required columns.

Go to the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) result-checking website at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEResults
In the required column, enter your Registration Number/Phone Number.
Finally, press the ‘Check My Results’ button to view your UTME results notification.
The portal will return your JAMB Notification of Result if your result is ready. You can then proceed with the printing of the result.

2. Via SMS

Candidates can now send “UTME RESULT” to 55019 or “UTMERESULT” to 66019 via SMS using the same phone number they registered with. Also please ensure you have a minimum credit balance of N50. You will receive an SMS response shortly after.

You may receive the following responses:

A notification stating, “This phone number was not used for registration,” will be sent to candidates who use unregistered phone numbers.
A message like this one will be sent to candidates who have results: “Dear Mr./Miss X, your result is as follows… (followed by the details).”
The candidate will be sent a notification titled “Result Withheld” if the results are not disclosed.
Applicants who are granted a margin of error will receive the following notification: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
A notice titled “CANDIDATE ABSENT” will be sent to absent candidates.
Candidates will be informed if their registration number was canceled due to their absence.
Candidates who enter the examination venue without authorization will receive a notification titled “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall.”

You need to understand and get the message JAMB is trying to put across. When checking your result, jamb writes your subjects in abbreviations accompanied with your score especially when using the SMS method.
