List of DCE Scholarship

Here is the list of DCE Scholarships:

1. ITC Fee Reimbursement Scholarship, Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

This scholarship is available to students from minority communities, including Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Jains.

Applicants must be enrolled in an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) course.

The annual income of the student’s family should not exceed INR 8,00,000 per year.

Awards

INR 10,000 for students pursuing the 1-year course.
INR 20,000 for students pursuing the 2-year course.

2. C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship, Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

1. This scholarship is exclusively available for female students belonging to Muslim, Latin, or converted Christian communities.

2. Applicants must be pursuing studies at the undergraduate level or above.

3. They are required to have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in their last qualifying examination.

4. The annual income of the student’s family should not exceed INR 8,00,000.

5. Students studying in self-financing colleges through merit-based admissions are also eligible to apply.

Awards

For undergraduates – INR 5,000 per annum
For postgraduates – INR 6,000 per annum
For professional courses – INR 7,000 per annum
Hostel stipend – INR 13,000 per annum

It is important to note that the hostel stipend is available only for students residing in recognized hostels.

3. APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship (APJAK), Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

1. This scholarship is open to students who are part of minority communities, including Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Parsis, Jains, and Buddhists.

2. Applicants must be enrolled in a government or aided polytechnic institution under a merit-based seat.

3. The annual family income should not exceed INR 8,00,000.

4. Prof. Joseph Mundassery Scholarship Award (PJMS), Kerala

2. They should be currently studying in Classes 10, 12, or VHSE (Vocational Higher Secondary Education).

3. The total annual family income should not exceed INR 8,00,000 from all sources.

Award: INR 10,000 for each selected scholar at different levels

5. Mother Teresa Scholarship (MTS), Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

1. This scholarship is open to applicants from Minority communities, including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains, and Buddhists.

2. They must be currently enrolled in a nursing diploma or paramedical course.

3. The annual family income should not exceed INR 8,00,000 from all sources.

Award: INR 15,000 per annum

6. CA/ICWA/CS Scholarship (IWCS), Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

1. This scholarship is available to applicants from Minority communities, which include Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains, and Buddhists, who are pursuing CA/ICWA/CS courses.

2. They must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in their last qualifying examination.

3. The annual family income should not exceed INR 8,00,000.

Award: INR 15,000 per annum for each student

7. District Merit Scholarship (DMS), Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

1. Students enrolled in higher secondary, VHSC (Vocational Higher Secondary Course), ITI (Industrial Training Institute), or Polytechnic courses are eligible to apply.

2. They should have successfully cleared the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examination administered by the Kerala State Board of Public Examination, achieving an ‘A+’ grade in all subjects.

Award: INR 1,250 per annum

Application Period: Between October and December

8. State Merit Scholarship, Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

1. Students who are in the initial year of their undergraduate or postgraduate studies at a government or aided college or university are eligible to apply.

2. They must have achieved a minimum percentage of 50% or above in the qualifying examination.

3. The annual family income should not exceed INR 1,00,000.

Awards

For graduates – INR 1,250 per annum each to 300 students
For postgraduates – INR 1,500 per annum each to 150 students

9. Sanskrit Scholarship (SSE), Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

Students pursuing undergraduate or doctoral degrees with Sanskrit as a subject are eligible for the scholarship.

Awards

For undergraduate courses – 55 scholarships of INR 200 per month to each scholar
For postgraduate courses – 25 scholarships of INR 200 per month to each scholar

10. Muslim Nadar Girls Scholarship, Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

1. This scholarship is exclusively available for female students who come from economically backward families and belong to the backward community.

2. They should be currently pursuing studies in the first year of an HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate), VHSC (Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate), or undergraduate degree course at a government or aided arts and science college or university.

Award: INR 125 per annum to each selected scholar

11. Music Fine Arts Scholarship (MFAS), Kerala

12. Blind/PH Scholarship, Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

1. This scholarship is specifically designed for students who are blind, physically handicapped, or deaf.

2. They should be currently pursuing their studies in government or aided Arts and Science Colleges, Music Colleges, or Higher Secondary/Vocational Higher Secondary schools.

Awards

1. Blind students from families with an annual income below INR 2,50,000 will be exempted from paying fees.

2. Physically disabled students residing in hostels, with a family income below INR 4,50,000, will receive a waiver on hostel charges.

3. Physically disabled students who are day scholars, with a family income below INR 4,50,000, will receive a waiver on boarding charges.

13. Hindi Scholarship (HS), Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

For this grant, applicants must be taking Hindi as a subject in an undergraduate or graduate program.

Awards

For undergraduate students – 180 students will receive INR 500 per month
For postgraduate students – 59 students will receive INR 1,000 per month

14. Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship (SJMS), Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

1. This scholarship is available to students who are in their first year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program.

2. They must come from a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family.

3. The minimum required percentage of marks in the last qualifying examination is 50% or higher.

Award: INR 10,000 per annum towards pursuing higher education

Application Period: Between October and December

15. Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) for Minority Community, Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

1. This scholarship is available to students who are part of a minority community, including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains, and Buddhists.

2. They should be pursuing their studies from Classes 11 to the Ph.D. level.

3. The minimum required percentage of marks in the qualifying examination should be 50% or above, or an equivalent grade.

The annual family income should not exceed INR 2,00,000.

Awards

Admission and tuition fee up to INR 10,000 per annum
Maintenance allowance of up to INR 1,200 per month (for 10 months)

16. Central Sector Scholarship (CSS), Kerala

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala

Eligibility

1. Students who have achieved a percentile ranking above the 80th percentile among successful candidates in Class 12 from their respective Board of Examination are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

2. They must be enrolled in regular degree courses at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, provided by institutions/colleges recognized by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), UGC (University Grants Commission), MCI (Medical Council of India), DCI (Dental Council of India), or any other regulatory authorities.

3. The total annual income of the student’s family should not exceed INR 8,00,000 from all sources.

Awards

For graduation level – INR 10,000 per annum for the first three years and INR 20,000 per annum for 4th and 5th year (for integrated/5-year courses)
For postgraduation level – INR 20,000 per annum
