  • Eligible colleges have science, bioscience, agriculture, and engineering departments from which applicants may choose.
  • The grant is open to academically talented individuals who want to pursue doctoral-level research and study in the area of Science.
Dr S Radhakrishnan Postdoctoral Fellowship in Humanities & Social Science
  • Candidates should be jobless and devote all of their time to research.
  • Candidate’s age must be 30 or less (relief of three and five years provided to OBC and SC/ST/PWD/Female applicants, respectively).
  • The minimum GPA required to be considered for this scholarship is 55% (a 5% GPA relaxation is available for reserved applicants).
Emeritus Fellowship
  • The ideal candidate will be a retired professor or instructor from a prestigious educational institution with extensive expertise and a stellar academic pedigree.
  • The study they did while serving should have been publishable.
Indira Gandhi Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child
  • The candidate must be a girl who is an only child and has no brothers or sisters.
  • It is recommended that she is no older than 30 years old.
  • The applicant has to be currently enrolled in the first year of a master’s program at a recognised board or university or postgraduate institution in order to be considered.
Ishan Uday Scholarship Canara Bank-for North Eastern Region
  • Candidates must be from the North East Area (NER).
  • Candidates should have completed the NER equivalent of the high school senior year examination.
  • The candidate must be enrolled as a first-year undergraduate (UG) student at an accredited institution.
  • The applicant’s annual household income cannot be more than Rs 4.5 lakh.
Kothari Fellowship
  • Candidates must be jobless and under the age of 35 (with age exceptions of up to 3, 5, and 10 years for Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Women, and the Physically Handicapped).
  • Qualifications for this position include (but are not limited to) a doctoral degree in a relevant scientific field and evidence of significant research output.
Maulana Azad National Fellowship-Minority
  • The candidate must be a member of a historically marginalised people, such as a Sikh, Buddhist, Muslim, Jain, or Christian community.
  • They must have received a grade of at least 55% at the postgraduate level and be enrolled in a PhD or MPhil program that allows full-time study.
  • A successful completion of the CBSE, NTA-UGC-NET, or CSIR-NET test is required of the applicant.
National Fellowship for Students of Other Backward Classes (OBC)
  • The applicant has to be an OBC graduate and currently jobless.
  • The applicant’s yearly household income must be below Rs 6 lakhs.
  • The applicant should be enrolled for M.Phil or PhD programs (full-time) in fields of science, Social sciences or Engineering & Technology.
NET-JRF Fellowship
  • Applicants should be no older than 30 (with age reductions of three and five years, respectively, for OBC and SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates).
  • To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must have earned a master’s degree or its equivalent with a grade point average of at least 55% (a 5% grade point average relaxation is provided to reserved applicants).
PG Scholarship for M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Pharma to GATE/ GPAT qualified candidates
  • Each applicant must have a current GATE or GPAT score.
  • Students applying to Master of Engineering, Master of Pharmacy, or Master of Technology programs at AICTE-accredited universities must have already been accepted to such programs.
PG Scholarship for Professional courses for SC/ ST
  • Applicants should be in their first year of a master’s or doctoral program at an accredited institution.
  • They need to be members of the SC/ST community.
PG Scholarship for University Rank holders
  • The successful applicant will have graduated in the top two percent of their undergraduate class and will have maintained a minimum grade point average of 60%.
  • They should be graduate students working on a master’s degree at a reputable university or college.
  • Each candidate must be younger than 30.
Post-Doctoral Fellowship for SC & ST
  • Dr. candidates who have published their work but are now without employment.
  • Male applicants must be at least 50 years old, while female applicants have until they become 55 to apply.
  • SC/ ST applicants must have a 50% UG GPA and a 55% PG GPA to be eligible for consideration.
Post-Doctoral Fellowship to Women Candidates
  • Job-seeking women PhD holders are encouraged to apply.
  • She must be between the ages of 30 and 55 (with a 5-year age reduction for those in certain protected groups, including the SC, ST, OBC, and PWD).
  • The minimal requirements for General category candidates are 55% at the undergraduate level and 60% at the graduate level.
  • The minimum UG and PG mark requirements for candidates in the reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, and PWD) are 50% and 55%, respectively.
Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for SC
  • The candidate must be a graduate student from a historically underrepresented group.
  • No more than two years should pass between the time they get the award letter and the time they enrol in the MPhil/Ph.D. program.
Swami Vivekananda Single Girl Child Scholarship for Research in Social Sciences
  • For consideration, the candidate must be an only child, a female.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time doctoral student in social science at an accredited institution.
  • The candidate’s age must be 40 or younger, with a 5-year age exception for those in protected groups.
UGC-BSR Faculty Fellowship Scheme
  • In order to be considered, candidates need to have produced at least 15 scholarly pieces in high-quality publications.
  • The applicant must have supervised the dissertations of at least 15 full-time PhD candidates (5 in the last ten years) in the basic sciences and 10 full-time PhD students (5 in the last ten years) in the engineering and technology fields.
  • The ideal candidate will have managed three distinct kinds of research projects during the last decade.

2. Read the instructions carefully to understand the application process and requirements.

3. Access the scholarship and fellowship administration section on the website.

4. Select the Scholar’s Corner option, and a new page will open.

5. If you are a new user, choose the “new user registration” option to access the registration form.

6. Fill out the registration application with all the necessary information.

7. Choose the appropriate option, and a new tab will open with the link to the application form.

8. Provide all the requested information in the application form, including your name, age, gender, father’s name, category “e,” date of birth, etc.

9. Upload the required documents in either jpg or png format, as specified.
