About Adi Dravidar Scholarship
The Adi Dravidar Scholarship, also known as ADW Scholarship, now allows students from Minority Communities like Muslims, Sikhs, Islam and Christians, Parsis, Jains, etc., to apply online.
This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance and support to students belonging to these categories. It covers students from pre-matric, post-matric, 1st to 12th grades, as well as those pursuing UG to Ph.D. degrees.
The TN ADW Scholarship encompasses around 23 scholarships or schemes, catering to students from Adi Dravidar, Tribal, and Adi Dravidar converted to Christianity communities, as well as other Minority Communities.
Scholarship amounts vary, and recipients may also enjoy facilities like Hostel Facilities, Awards or Prizes, Fee Reimbursement, and Free Textbooks.

Objectives of the Adi Dravidar Scholarship
The primary objective behind launching the ADW Scholarship is to provide social security and welfare to students from minority communities, enabling them to pursue their studies with the financial aid provided.
It also aims to uplift tribal welfare within these communities.
Another significant goal of the ADW Scholarship is to encourage students from Minority, ST, and SC communities to pursue higher education.
By doing so, it aspires to elevate its educational standards in the social hierarchy. The scholarship amount will be disbursed on a yearly basis.

ADW Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant must be a resident of Tamilnadu State.
2. The candidate should belong to Adi Dravidar, Tribal, Adi Dravidar converted to Christianity communities, or other Minority Communities.

4. The annual income of the student’s parents must not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/-.
