Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU) is a central university located in Garhwal, Uttarakhand.

HNBGU Scholarship
1. Merit Scholarship for B.Ed. Students
This scholarship is awarded to the top six students who excel in the entrance examination for the B.Ed program conducted by the university. Each recipient receives a monthly scholarship of INR 200.
2. Merit Scholarship for BPL Students
This scholarship is designated for students from the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. It provides INR 1,500 per month to ten academically outstanding students at the university.
3. Shri Kalyaneshwar Temple Scholarship
This scholarship is aimed at meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who are enrolled in either undergraduate or postgraduate programs.
4. Smt. Shanti Devi Shaligram Bhatt Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded annually to three students. Two scholarships are available for students in undergraduate or postgraduate courses, and one fellowship is specifically for a Mass Communication student.
