Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) is a state-level medical university established in 1998 in Faridkot, Punjab.
It is one of the 13 universities of Health Sciences in India. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). BFUHS is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and SAARC.
BFUHS has 155 associated colleges, including 146 affiliated and 9 constituent colleges. The university offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, and Ph.D. programs in various Health Sciences disciplines. Among the most popular courses at BFUHS are MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, B.Sc, and M.D.

BFUHS Admission
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences offers admissions to Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, and Doctoral programs in various fields such as Medicine, Nursing, Surgery, and Physiotherapy.
Admission to BFUHS is based on entrance exams like NEET, PPMET, and PHDET. For UG and PG courses, admissions are determined by NEET UG and NEET PG scores, respectively.
After clearing these exams, students must participate in Punjab NEET Counselling to secure admission to the various colleges affiliated with BFUHS.
How to Apply
Here are the steps to register and apply for various courses at BFUHS:
1. Visit the official BFUHS website.
2. On the homepage, click on the notification/link for UG/PG Admission 2024.
3. You will be redirected to the registration page.
4. Register using an active mobile number and email ID.
5. Enter details such as your name, father’s name, course preference, category, quota, NEET 2024 marks, etc.
6. Upon successful registration, you will receive a registration ID and password on your registered mobile number.
7. Log in using the registration ID, and the application dashboard will appear on your screen.
8. Fill out the admission application form by clicking on the “Fill/Edit Admission Form” icon.
9. Click on “Accept Declaration and Continue to Choice Filling.”
10. Enter the necessary details and click on “Save Choices.”
11. A window displaying a preview of your selected choices will appear.
12. Pay the application fee using a Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
13. The admission application fee for BFUHS Admission 2024 is INR 5,900 (INR 2,950 for SC candidates).
