Scholarships and Grant Programs
There are lots of benefits to applying for this scholarship. One of these benefits is that there are several institutional scholarships and grants that are available that may aid in reducing the stress of paying for college.

Some of these financial aid opportunities include:
1. AIU Advantage Grant–This is one of the best on our list. This is a need-based scholarship for all students who are facing very personal or money hardships. Qualifying students may be qualified for $500 to $1,000 in help.
2. AIU Academic Educational Alliances Grant–Any Students who transfer to AIU Houston from an institution in Texas with whom we have an articulation agreement may qualify for a different grant in the amount of 5% to 50% of tuition costs.*
3. AIU Corporate Educational Alliances Grant–Their Educational Alliances Center (EAC) partners with some local businesses to provide professional development chances and educational incentives. Present employees of the firms that are part of their Corporate Educational Alliance can qualify for a 5% to 50% grant toward tuition costs.*
4. AIU Impact Grant–The AIU has created the Impact Grant to help eligible students with the chance to attend AIU. The Impact Grant is available for degree programs made known by the University; not all programs may qualify.
5. AIU Tribal Educational Alliances Grant–Students that are associated with a Tribal Educational Alliance member may qualify for financial help as tuition remission
6. AIU Lifelong Learning Grant–Undergraduate alumni who decide to pursue a graduate degree at AIU may be eligible for up to $1,000 toward tuition and program costs.
7. AIU Resilience Grant–This grant helps fresh new that who are enrolled in a Title IV eligible program at AIU but because of extenuating circumstances cannot pursue their education without financial help.
8. AIU Success Grant–They design this grant to recognize and reward students with 36 transfer credits or less who achieve academic success during their first academic year at AIU. Fresh undergraduate students who are registered more than half-time each quarter in their first year and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 may be eligible for a one-time grant of over $2,000.
9. AIU Scholarship Fund–Knowing students with an inspiring motivation to get a degree at AIU, if they are qualified, the recipients may get around $500 to $2,000.
Extra scholarships that are available for students include the AIU International Scholarship, which gives $8,000 to international students, and the Alumni Referral Scholarship, which gives $1,000 to new students who were referred by AIU alumni.
How to Apply for AIU Scholarships
- To apply for AIU scholarships, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the AIU Scholarship Application.
- The FAFSA is used to determine a student’s eligibility for federal financial aid, while the AIU Scholarship Application is used to determine a student’s eligibility for AIU scholarships and grants.
